... the world will miss out! Share what? Your gift from God. I recently read a quote somewhere about this and it really stuck with me. I now feel the need to share this with everyone out there. We all have a special gift of some sort that was bestowed upon us by our Creator ... and for a reason.
I know that this post is similar to a previous entry I wrote, but it truly is worth talking about again. What is your gift? You may think you don't have one, but you do. I assure you: you do. Are you a skilled seamstress? An expert at technology? Do you have an incredible singing voice or an amazing skill for dancing? Are you a good listener? Perhaps you are skilled at working on cars or mechanical things; building; gardening; baking; working with children or elderly; communicating with others or arts and crafts. I could go on, but I will stop here. The point is, you (and everyone else out there) have at least one special gift/talent. The question is, are you using it? Do you share it with others? If not, the world is truly missing out.
This doesn't mean you have to make a YouTube video to share with the entire world; it simply means to try to make an effort to use your gift where applicable in your life, whether to one person, 20 or 1,000. As long as you are using it and sharing it in some way, at some point in your life, the world is not missing out.
Go out there and shine! Sing a song for your neighbor; bake a pie for the church bake sale; craft a beautiful quilt for someone in need; offer to fix a friend's car or teach someone how to fix their own. Let the world know what you're all about. Show them what God gifted you in this lifetime. You ARE important.
"If you don't share your gift, the world will miss out."

Gina
